UPDATE 5-19-2020

**** The City has received approval from the Board of Public Health to open our cabins and overnight camping.  If you would like to make a reservation, you will need to go to the Marina or call (217) 824-5606.  The Marina hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  ****

The Lake Lots and Campgrounds will be open effective May 4th, 2020 for families.  We would expect users to abide by the rules set forth for social distancing.  This includes only people residing in the same household and a limit of 10.  Due to the pandemic there will be adjusted rules for the 2020 season which are as follow.  No guests.  Permanent campers only.  The showers and restrooms will be closed.  The beach and playgrounds will be closed.  No social gatherings.  The Marina hours will be Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  There will be no gas sales or tent camping for the month of May.

We will sell boat stickers, golf cart stickers and accept camp rent.  The drawing for open lake lots was held on Monday, May 11th.

Please note that in breaking the rules, it will result in automatic termination of your lease.  If there are too many breaking these rules, it will result in the closure of the Lake Lots and Campgrounds.

Boating will still be allowed but please remember no more than two people are allowed per boat unless they reside in the same household.  I understand that this is an inconvenience for all concerned but in the current circumstances with the safety and well-being of all our residents and visitors being my top priority – this is a decision we must make.  Stay safe.  We will post further updates as we receive them. Thank you.
