“Work is continuing on the Springfield Rd water main replacement project with work currently being focused on Springfield Rd. There will be lane shifts and additional traffic changes for the near future. Please be extra alert for workers withing the roadways. Access to all the businesses along the route are still open so please continue to support our local business’s.”
8/16/2024 EL Pruitt will be starting construction on the City’s water main along Cheney St between Rt 29 and Nectar Ln. Traffic may be reduced to one lane at times with flaggers and possible traffic delays. The second phase of this work will be on Springfield Road from the Cheney/Springfield Road intersection down to Neal Tire with the work expected to continue through to the end of the year. Please use caution while traveling in this area. We will post updates on the construction as the work progresses.
