“E.L Pruitt has started working along Springfield Rd/Rt29 and will be directional drilling water main as well as have open holes to dig in and connect the water main being install. All businesses will be open and accessible. Please use caution while entering the businesses as there will be people working. Extra attention to your surrounding while traveling through this area is appreciated.”
8/16/2024 EL Pruitt will be starting construction on the City’s water main along Cheney St between Rt 29 and Nectar Ln. Traffic may be reduced to one lane at times with flaggers and possible traffic delays. The second phase of this work will be on Springfield Road from the Cheney/Springfield Road intersection down to Neal Tire with the work expected to continue through to the end of the year. Please use caution while traveling in this area. We will post updates on the construction as the work progresses.
