We have received many phone calls about customers not receiving their 2/15/2026 bills in the mail still. We took the bills to the post office the SAME time we do every month, which was the morning of Friday, January 23rd. We called the post office the morning of 2/2/26 to see why no one has been receiving their bills in the mail yet. The post office informed us that they send their mail to a sorting center in another town and have not received the bills back from the sorting center yet. We apologize for the delay and confusion, but the bills are still due on 2/15/26. If you are needing to know how much is due, PLEASE call the Water Collections office at (217) 824-2919 and we are more than happy to look up your account for you. There are also other options for you – you can choose electronic billing or use bank auto-draft. Both of these options can be set up for you by calling the Water Collections office.
